Paul is a guest contributor on our blog posts. Paul and his team support NHS employers to integrate diversity and inclusion into their organizational development and workforce strategies. The main vehicles for this are the Partners and Partners Alumni programmes – which are quality improvement, peer support networks involving health and social care organizations committed to developing their capability and competence in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
The team also focus on sharing good and best practice and changes in legislation and policy. One of the key activities related to this is the annual NHS Equality Week – held in May each year – which often includes webinars, tweetchats and regional events celebrating the diversity of the health and social care workforce and the benefits that this brings.
Paul is part of the UK’s Department of Health’s equality and diversity team with the aim to help them develop a national strategy in diversity and equality.
